The Floatplane.  The mere mention of it brings to mind adventure in the tropical sun, Jimmy Buffet-style.  The idea of flying from island to island in your own floatplane is one that has captured the imagination of millions of people.

Only a tiny handful of pilots ever get to live this dream, however -- so we created the Floatplane Room for you to enjoy instead!  With artwork and memorabilia depicting floatplanes on all the walls, our languid island breezes wafting through your window, and the ocean just six blocks away, it's not hard to imagine yourself living that dream!

And it's a pretty darned nice dream to live, right here on Mustang Island.   Your room sports a Queen-sized bed, microwave oven, single-cup (Not K-Cup) coffee maker, refrigerator, hair dryer -- and, of course, you will receive our signature service, a delivered-to-your room continental breakfast, with fresh bakery, fruit, juice, coffee or tea.
